Introduction:
Health is an
important domain in the population, and well-being is the people aim to reach
to live longer in good and better health. Health is defined by WHO mentioned
by (Health Knowledge, 2018) “Health is a state of complete physical, mental and
social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity”. So
wellbeing that the person must have good physical, psychological,
physiological, mental, and social well-being can be contributed to a person’s well-being
and health. Population understanding and
education are essential to increasing health and wellbeing so they can live
longer in good and better health. Improvement of community health and wellbeing is a vital role of
community health professionals that will increase population understanding that
will cause increased health and well-being of the community. Most people don’t
aware of the importance of health and how to manage their health at home and
when measuring vital signs they are not aware of normal or abnormal readings
and when to go to the hospital.

understand the normal range and how to manage if low or high.

Vital signs:
vital signs are the measurements of the body basic functions that include:
• Blood Pressure:
blood pressure is a measurement of the pressure of the blood in the arteries when the heart is pumping or resting. There were two numbers: first systolic blood pressure which indicated the arterial pressure when heartbeat. Second diastolic blood pressure indicated arterial pressure when the heart rests between the beats.
Management of blood pressure
•
90/50 till 100/60 blood pressure is low needs consultation
•
Don’t panic
•
Drink lemon juice with salt to be refresh and increase
your blood pressure
•
Rest and relax by taking deep breathing from the
nose and exhaling from the mouth
•
Raise your leg for 5 minutes
•
Recheck after 15 minutes
•
110/70 till120/80 normal range of blood pressure no need for any
consultation
•
You are in good health keep up.
•
Recheck after 1 month if you are not
hypertensive if you are hypertensive you can check after 1 week or if you are
having any problem
•
130/90 till140/90 first
degree high need to be checked again after 15 minutes do this to reduce your
blood pressure:
•
Sit and take deep breathing from the nose and
exhale from the mouth.
•
Can close your eyes and relax
•
Don’t eat or drink at this time
•
Don’t smoke and take coffee or tea.
- After that repeat the blood pressure.
•
150/90 and above the blood pressure is high and may you feel
headache and tired do this measures:
•
Sit and take deep breathing from the nose and
exhale from the mouth.
•
Can close your eyes and relax
•
Don’t eat or drink at this time
•
Don’t smoke and take coffee or tea.
•
After 15 minutes repeat the blood pressure.
•
If still high go to the nearest hospital or
clinic.
• Pulse:
pulse its measurement of the heart rates
by checking how many beats per minute.
Management of pulse
•
50 and lower
•
your pulse is low please do these measures to
increase your pulse:
•
Set relaxed do breathing from the nose and
exhale from the mouth
•
Raise leg to improve circulation
•
Drink lime juice to get a refresh
•
Check after 15 minutes if not raised can go to
the doctor if you have this sign:
•
Dizziness, tired, headache, can’t concentrate,
nausea
•
60-100
•
You are a healthy person keep up
•
Do some exercise that makes your heart healthy
•
Eat a healthy diet that makes your heart strong
•
100 and above: high
pulse rate you must do these measures to decrease your heart rate:
•
Sit relaxed
•
Do deep breathing exercise
•
Exhale from the nose slowly count till 10 and
exhale slowly count till 10 for 4-5 times
•
Rest after exercise for 10 minutes
•
Recheck after 15 minutes if same must go to the
nearest clinic
Blood sugar:
blood sugar can indicate the sugar in your blood, there were 2 measurements:
Fasting blood sugar checking:
•
60 and below
•
70 – 110
• 120 and more
Random blood sugar checking ( after 1-2 hours of food)
•
140 and below
•
Above 150
Blood sugar management
•
60 and below
•
Your blood sugar is low do these measures to
increase blood sugar if you are conscious:
•
Take 1 piece of candy and put it in your mouth
if you are concourse
•
Or drink orange juice
•
Or take one spoon of honey
•
If blood sugar is still low go to the nearest
clinic or hospital
•
If the patient is not conscious please don’t do
any things and call an ambulance directly
•
70 – 110 fasting
•
140 and below random
•
your
health is good to keep up and do regular exercises
•
Eat a healthy diet
•
Do again test for the normal person after 1
month and if you are diabetic after 1 week or whenever needed.
•
120 and more (fasting) or above 150 (random): this is a sign of diabetic please
if you are having this symptom please go to the nearest clinic:
•
Increased thirst.
•
Frequent urination.
•
Fatigue.
•
Nausea and vomiting.
•
Shortness of breath.
•
A very dry mouth.
Healthy diet:
to maintain good and healthy life the person must follow a healthy diet that made his life longer and easier without any issues.

Drink around 8 glasses of water
•
Eat less salt and sugar in your diet
•
Eat more fibers like fruits and vegetables
•

Conclusion
Health is the
most important aspect of human life, without health, the person can’t do his
normal activity of daily living and can’t do his work. This blogger can enhance
and improve population awareness related to some main health issues that may
face a person in his normal life. Because of increasing health issues related
to sedimentation lifestyle, this can help a person to monitor or control his
health status.
